We were commissioned to renovate the living room, entrance area, main kitchen, and back kitchen area After examining the shell of the building, we discovered that the entire ground floor had been fitted with a false ceiling that was a good meter too low. We were delighted. We removed the low suspended ceiling and gave the room an elegant, appropriate height.
What started out as a small renovation project quickly turned into a complete refurbishment due to the client's growing desire to also renew all the technical systems (underfloor heating, sophisticated EIB smart home system). In the end, we even needed the help of a structural engineer, as we wanted to connect and open up the rooms, which meant making significant changes to the building fabric.
The biggest highlight for us was the unique, delicate and large sliding windows, which we were able to plan and install with the help of a German specialist company. Thanks to the new ceiling height and the seamless filling technique on the floor, the Raumgefühl compared to before. The sophisticated lighting system gives the ambience a high, almost majestic elegance.
