When we talk about sacred architecture, many people first think of Egypt, Greece, or ancient temple complexes in South America.<\/span>
<\/span>But Germany, especially Saxony, also harbors ancient traces of this knowledge \u2013 in the form of chubby stone circles, earth sanctuaries and geomantic structures that testify to a time when architecture was still created in harmony with heaven and earth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stone circles \u2013 the first architectures of consciousness<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The stone circles in Saxony and other regions of Europe were far more than simple places of worship.<\/span>
<\/span>They were places of knowledge, healing, and connection between man and cosmos.<\/span>
<\/span>Its builders knew that all life resonates with the earth and the cardinal directions.<\/span>
<\/span>They were thus aligned precisely according to the axes of east, west, north and south \u2013 often additionally in relation to solstices, equinoxes or the path of certain stars.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the center of these facilities lay the power point, the navel of the place.<\/span>
<\/span>Here the lines of energy intersected, and right here man stood in balance between heaven and earth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The center \u2013 the heart of all sacred architecture<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The center is the point of stillness in the movement, the place where all forces unite.<\/span>
<\/span>In sacred geometry, it corresponds to the center of the circle \u2013 the origin from which everything arises and to which everything returns.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The old master builders knew:<\/span>
<\/span>A building without a center is like a person without a heart.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether stone circle, temple or cathedral \u2013 the center was always treated as a sacred place.<\/span>
<\/span>All dimensions, axes, and geometries were derived from there.<\/span>
<\/span>The center was not only the constructive but also the spiritual origin of the building.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The axes as a cosmic connection<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The deliberate alignment of the axes was equally crucial.<\/span>
<\/span>North-South symbolizes the connection to the earth \u2013 stability, strength, rootedness.<\/span>
<\/span>East-West represents the cycle of the sun, birth, death and rebirth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When a building is in harmony with these axes, energy flows unhindered.<\/span>
<\/span>The room becomes a resonating chamber for natural rhythms \u2013 day and night, summer and winter, yin and yang.<\/span>
<\/span>In such spaces, people intuitively sense coherence, balance, and inner peace.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning from the knowledge of stone circles<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The pummelten stone circles of Saxony remind us of this ancient knowledge.<\/span>
<\/span>Their orientation was no accident \u2013 \u200b\u200bit was part of a conscious communication with the Earth and the cosmos.<\/span>
<\/span>Each stone stood in its place, as part of a geometric and energetic order.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
